NSA Canada is extremely pleased to announce a new three year agreement with Raymond Lanctot Ltd., distributors of Louisville Slugger in Canada – Manufacturers of TPS Softball Bats.
Louisville Slugger comes on board for the 2009 season as the exclusive sponsor of NSA's “MVP T-shirt Program”. NSA Executive Director, Terry Sibbick, says that “ with the support of R. Lanctot., a Montreal based company and their Louisville Slugger TPS brand; we are able to continue to lead the way in the slo-pitch community by offering prizing that is unmatched and remains a driving force behind the success of our Leagues and Teams across Canada. Thanks to R. Lanctot & Louisville Slugger we can keep this important program going for the next three years!”
Also, with this new agreement, Louisville Slugger / TPS will develop a soft ball bat specifically for the Canadian market. Watch for this new NSA Canada approved bat coming soon. Louisville Slugger & their TPS Softball Bats will also participate in NSA's 1 st annual “ Battle of the Bats” being held in Edmonton March 7 th & 8 th , 2009. Watch for the Battle of the Bat results as posted on the NSA Canada website www.nsacanada.ca/bats/battleofthebats.php.
NSA will also utilize Louisville Slugger / TPS product for a new fundraising initiative for our Leagues and Teams. Sibbick said “this shows great support for our Leagues and Teams at a grass roots level. We'll soon announce a new raffle program with this exciting product for our membership”.
Louisville Slugger / TPS representatives will be on hand to demonstrate their products at some of our biggest events during the 2009 season. Watch for TPS at Vernon's Funtastic Festival, The Canadian Men's & Women's World Series in Hamilton, The Canadian Coed World Series in Calgary, the Diamond Duster Tournament in Uxbridge, and the Ontario Men's & Women's Provincials in Oshawa.
